Senior Analyst - Commercial Loan RenewalsDowntown Toronto | Hybrid$70,000$90,000 base + bonus + excellent benefitsWe are recruiting for a Senior Analyst to join a dynamic commercial real estate lending team in downtown Toronto. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of credit analysis, portfolio management, and client-facing work in the commercial real estate lending space.Working closely with Managers, you will play a key role in underwriting renewal credit opportunities, managing a portfolio of construction and term loans, and participating in client meetings to help structure these renewal deals. You will be a trusted voice in credit decisions and will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deals move forward smoothly.Responsibilities:Underwriting commercial real estate loans including renewals, some new deals, and amendmentsPreparing detailed credit submissions and conducting in-depth risk and financial analysisManaging a portfolio of construction loans and term mortgages, including reviewing monthly draws and tracking project progressAttending client meetings to support deal structuring, pricing recommendations, and drafting term sheetsLoan funding and servicing responsibilitiesSupporting the Management team with client solutions and referrals to other internal partnersEnsuring compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standardsRequirements:2-4+ years of experience in commercial lending, must have exposure to real estateSolid financial analysis skills, particularly in reviewing financial statements and evaluating real estate assetsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience managing loan portfolios and familiarity to loan funding and servicingProficiency with Excel and loan origination systemsPost-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related fieldWhy consider this opportunity?This is a collaborative and growing team that values precision, initiative, and client service.
