Job Title:HSSE Investigation and Learning SpecialistAbout the Role:This is a challenging opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of HSSE behaviour and culture in operations and maintenance.We are seeking an experienced professional with extensive knowledge in the application of HSSE manuals, processes, and procedures to create injury-free operations in hazardous environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support incident investigations using causal learning methodologyCoach and mentor frontline teams and leaders on incident learning and preventionManage investigation competency development for facilitatorsAnalyze HSSE data, identify trends and failed barriers, and recommend improvementsSupport regulatory reporting and ensure documentation complianceCollaborate cross-functionally with leadership, contractors, and external networksDevelop high-quality learning materials and reflective learning sessionsQualifications:10+ years HSSE experience in industrial, petrochemical, or large project environmentsLNG experience is considered an assetPost-secondary education in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Skilled in incident investigations and learning methodologies (Causal Learning preferred)Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment with evolving operationsExperience analyzing human and system-level failuresAdditional Requirements:Legally entitled to work in CanadaValid drivers licenseAbility to work outdoors at heights, and in confined spacesPass background checks, medical, and drug/alcohol testingWilling to be part of an on-call rotation and work flexible hours during critical phases
