We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. **Position Overview:** As a Welder at Columbia Industries Ltd., you will be responsible for performing welding tasks on various materials and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials (steel, aluminum, etc.). * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. * Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications. * Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program or apprenticeship is preferred. * Valid welding certification (e.g., CWB, AWS) is an asset. * Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting. * Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly wage (CAD 25 to CAD 35, depending on experience). * Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * A supportive and collaborative work environment.
