Provide technical support for day-to-day receiving lab activities to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable results. This role will be expected to lead investigations to drive continuous improvement and be the designated site trainer.ResponsibilitiesQUALITY & FOOD SAFETY: Follow and apply ISO 9001 FSS / ISO22000 Mars Standards and all related working procedures. Abide by all plant food safety rules. Support plant quality and food safety investigations and root cause analysis. Ensure compliance to CCPs and oPRPs in the department. Complete all quality and food safety related trainings required for the role.CLEANLINESS & TIDINESS: Perform Housekeeping Checks to ensure compliance to 5S. Inform Q&FS Manager of quality deviations according to product standards and production procedures. Accept or decline reception of goods according to reception procedures. Collaborate with raw material supply coordinator on inbound receiving scheduling priority. Accurately maintain WMS (Warehouse Management System). Immediately report any stock discrepancies.Laboratory Management: Conduct laboratory instrument calibrations, verifications, and record keeping. Manage ring tests. Lead investigations. Perform area-related equipment first-level maintenance. Prepare samples and documentation for external labs. Ensure accurate submission of products to offsite/external laboratories. Adhere to all environmental health & safety procedures. Train new trainees on test methods. Perform any task delegated by Lab Manager.Raw Materials Management: Sample raw materials from bulk trucks, big bags, and totes as per MGS SOP. Perform various laboratory analyses on raw materials following control plans and MGS test methods. Manage receiving document procedures and sign off delivery documents, including quality/quantity objections. Offload raw materials using forklift. Perform inventory of raw ingredients in bins, silos, and racks. Ensure record accuracy and prepare for audits. Manage non-conformities by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.QualificationsBachelors / Diploma / Associate degree in science or equivalent.Previous experience in laboratory work.High data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail.Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.Technically inclined with some metrology knowledge.Experience in investigations, RCA, and troubleshooting.Self-motivated team player with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.Color discrimination, odor sensitivity, texture perception, depth perception, safety, hygiene, and quality consciousness.Physical / Environmental RequirementsUnrestricted range of motion; comfortable working at heights.Extensive standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50kg.Proper PPE usage (safety glasses, hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, uniform).Ability to adapt to temperature extremes and environmental conditions such as dust, dirt, and chemicals.What You Can Expect from MarsWork with diverse and talented colleagues guided by The Five Principles.
