Fowler Construction is actively seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to assist with a wide range of on-site tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning work areas, removing debris and waste materials, shoveling and raking, performing traffic control and flagging, and supporting excavation and construction activities. Environment We prioritize sustainability and responsible practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Clean and perform preparation of worksites to eliminate possible hazards. * Operate equipment as required after receiving training on safe operation of any equipment used. * Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. * Clean and maintain any equipment or tools you may use. * Operate, read, and maintain air monitoring and other sampling devices when working in confined spaces and/or hazardous environments (training will be provided). * Receive mandatory traffic control training, control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones as required * Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, using appropriate tools. * Shovel and rake as required. * Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures * Under supervision, install sewer, water, and storm drainpipes, using pipe-laying machinery and laser guidance equipment. * Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. * Assist co-workers and assist at other job sites when required. * Perform demolition work and salvage useful materials if possible. * Regularly attend safety tailgate meetings. * All other duties as assigned. **Position Requirements** * Experience working in construction is considered an asset. * Strong work ethic and ability to work with a team. * Must be able to stand, lift 50 lbs., carry, bend, and reach. * Punctual, reliable, and available to work 50-60 hours per week. * Must maintain a valid Drivers License. **What We Offer** * 100% Employer-paid premiums for medical and dental benefits * RRSP matching pension plan * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & wellness initiatives * Career growth opportunities * Company and community involvement events **Work Conditions** * Travel to various sites will be required. * Outdoor environment in various weather conditions. * Overtime and weekend work may be required. **Join Our Team** If you are a motivated team player who takes pride in hard work, enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take on a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects, we encourage you to apply! #INDHP *At Fowler Construction, we truly value the diversity of our team and the communities we serve.
