The Segment & Product Analytics group supports the segment, product and commercial groups at EDC in the areas of Reporting and Analytics, Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth reporting and analysis of business results that help to drive informed decision making. The candidate will have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that provides insights and improves corporate processes. The successful candidate should possess deep analytical skills, a result focused approach, while striving for quality improvement to impact business results and customer experience. The successful candidate will also need to work collaboratively with other EDC business units to help achieve EDCs overall business objectives and have level appropriate knowledge of EDC suite of products (Financing, Insurance, Bonding, Loans and Guarantees).We are recruiting for a current vacancy, but this poster may also be used to fill future hiring needs over the next 12 months.ResponsibilitiesCommercial AnalyticsContribute to the management of financial product portfolios including monitoring the performance of the Financing, Insurance, Bonding, Loans and Guarantee products, risk analytics, performance analytics, forecasting and reconciliation between various financial reporting systems.Build reports, dashboards and analytics to support stakeholder reporting requirements and be able to present findings to senior leadership.Develop, maintain, and utilize customized financial models for reporting, risk assessment and business projections (e.g. volumes, premiums, customers, and more).Supporting stakeholder management through oversight of incentive, operational, financial, customer, and productivity measures.
