The Bus and Trucks Machanic - Mississauga has a key role in the Volvo Group | Prevost Division in order to perform skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of coaches. Responsibilities may include trouble-shooting repair needs which are difficult to identify and independently completing repair projects. Responsibilities: Perform routine coach maintenance and inspections; Works independently or in a team environment without supervision; Communicates effectively and professionally with supervisors and customers regarding repairs; Replacement of defective parts; Do building & equipment maintenance, general housekeeping; Do other duties as assigned; Complete paper work on a daily basis. Education and experience: Qualified mechanical experience; Be go to person in areas of expertise (Electrical, HVAC, Slide Out, Pneumatics & Body Repair); Assists customers over the phone with technical issues and/or questions; Red Seal certification or License Technician is needed; Class B commercial driver''s license with a passenger endorsement; (a good ); EPA certification for the handling of refrigerant; (a good ). Key competencies: Proficient with electronic media (Technical Prints, Cat Base, Bulletins & Recalls, SAP); Proactively acquires and expands knowledge of the latest technology and systems in the industry; Ability to look up parts efficiently; Troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
