We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Vacuum Heat Treat Operator . The role of Vacuum Heat Treat Operator reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages including shift premiums. We have 1 vacancy to fill immediately: 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:30pm 12:00am) $1 shift premium Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): Operate furnaces to ensure that temperature settings, pressure, and time durations are accurate and within specifications. Review technical specifications to understand the materials being treated and the desired properties. Inspect raw materials before and after heat treatment to ensure proper size, shape, and quality. Perform routine maintenance on heat treatment equipment to keep it running efficiently. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company safety regulations and quality standards. Key Skill Requirements: Ability to identify and fix equipment malfunctions or problems quickly Good visual acuity and attention to detail Effective communication skills Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision Basic math skills Key Experience: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook an asset Experience programming furnace controllers, reading furnace charts and verifying that performed heat treatments are in compliance with specifications an asset Application Information: This is a full-time position with initial training on our day shift.
