The Opportunity RVS invites applications for a full-time (35 hrs/wk) Executive Assistant position starting September 2, 2025. As a member of the Human Resources team, the Executive Assistant will perform a variety of administrative duties while coordinating the efficient operation of the department. The location of this position will be at the Education Centre in Airdrie, Alberta. Responsibilities Include Provides confidential and diversified administrative support to the Associate Superintendent including coordinating and supporting meetings, coordinating internal/external communication, preparing presentations, submitting expenses, reports, and formal documents Organizes and coordinates Associate Superintendents and their departments immediate and future commitments and ongoing action items Proactively coordinates and composes communication with internal and external stakeholders in a timely, accurate and professional manner Responds to inquiries and significant concerns in a timely manner, redirecting as appropriate Responsible for departmental document management including maintenance of administrative procedures, forms, handbooks and manuals Conducts and/or coordinates research, analysis, synthesis of information and data to inform decision making Supervises administrative staff in the department including training, delegation, and evaluation Provides administrative support to divisional and/or board committees as required Monitors department budgets and resources Orders supplies, creates requisitions and codes expenditures appropriately, tracking budget lines that are the responsibility of the Associate Superintendent Education/Experience Post-secondary diploma in business administration or a related field Minimum 3 years experience supporting an executive level professional preferably in the public sector Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of complex and sensitive issues professionally and in a timely manner Previous experience in a school division would be considered an asset Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Rocky View Schools Benefits 6 weeks Vacation per year 8 Earned Days per year Hybrid (one day a week, working remotely) with Supervisor approval Benefits Plan ( Extended Health, Dental, Wellness & Spending Account, Tax Free Savings Account and Registered Retirement Savings Plan) Defined Benefit Pension Plan Professional Development and training opportunities Free Parking Pre-Employment Requirements The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment Proof of qualifications/education as required by the position Open to: Internal and External applicants Salary: $69,525 to $74,675 per year How to Apply We request all applications be placed through .
