The Fire Captain will report directly to the Deputy Fire Chief and supervise the station duties of Lieutenants and firefighters during emergency and non-emergency situations. These responsibilities include fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, and rescue operations within a paid on-call capacity. The Fire Captain will also manage the basic administration of paid on-call firefighters, engage with the community, provide public education, and assist with pre-planning efforts.
