Join our Recruitment Team! Position Type: Temporary Fulltime. Reports To: Manager, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment. Were seeking a brilliant, thrill-seeking recruitment specialist to support some of our recruitment efforts. This is a temporary position that requires a full-time commitment over the contract term. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will support the team and operational leaders in the recruitment of great candidates to the organization. COV website, student engagement and career events. Conduct candidate interviews independently or with a hiring manager, to support recruitment to specific vacancies, and through pipeline processes. Complete reference checks as required through RedCap survey or by phone. casual opportunities, etc. Collaborate with HR teams on matters such as selection decisions, grievances, etc. ~ General Team Support Provide other hands-on team and/or projects support as necessary. Human Resources, Business Administration, etc) Equivalencies may be considered. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in recruitment or other related positions, preferably within a unionized environment. Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook and internet software application. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: You excel at strategic relationship building and are able to leverage professional connections to deliver on the different areas of work that contribute to the vision of the team/organization. Collaboration & Communication: You understand the relational dynamics between your role and other roles within the team and youre able to work collaboratively with team members to deliver on immediate goals.
