Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Opportunity This position will provide maintenance and repair support for a range of mobile and static explosive pumping equipment. Additionally, this role will complete regular fleet maintenance and inspections through the preventative maintenance program. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot all Orica explosive pumping and manufacturing equipment. Assist with vehicle audits and regulatory inspections. Complete regular fleet maintenance and inspections through the preventative maintenance program. Ensure regulatory compliance and mobile major hazard management as required. Fault find and repair prime mover explosives delivery units (majority of Western Star chassis). Location and Work Schedule: Work locations to support: Coal Valley mine, Vista mine, Gahcho Kue mine. 14x14 roster. Depending on location travel would be paid for and accommodation and meals while at work Job Requirements: High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent. Class 1 drivers'' license is an asset, or Class 3 drivers'' license with air mandatory with clean abstract. Inter-Provincial Red Seal certificate required (Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport). CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Permit) is an asset. What We Offer: Competitive salary of $45-$50 per hour (Red Seal certified). $20/day per diem. Housing provided while on shift.
