Food Service Team Member Job Description We are currently seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Member to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established guidelines and recipes. Key Responsibilities: Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes Safely use various utensils, including knives Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc. Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils Requirements: Previous experience as a cook or in a related field required Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations Able to acquire food safety certification Benefits: Comprehensive benefit packages offered Transportation provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, ON Travel allowance available for some areas that are further away About the Role: This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
