About this role: As a seasoned financial professional, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, and audit functions. This includes overseeing all planning, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities related to capital expenditures, managing the organization''s capital budget, and overseeing treasury activities. About you: Candidate must have a CPA designation. A university degree (preferably Business or Commerce) is required. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting in a large complex organization with minimum 2 years of finance leadership function, preferably in a healthcare setting. Prior experience in capital accounting, planning, and reporting is mandatory. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of GAAP as applicable to hospitals. Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement techniques as they relate to financial targets, timeliness, client, and staff satisfaction. Proven ability to consolidate and summarize data in a presentation format for senior management''s review and assessment.
