Job Responsibilities Ensure a fresh and appealing display by maintaining cases and shelves, ensuring products are facing forward, checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date items. Assist team leaders in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items. Monitor and prevent spoilage, communicating waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisors. Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required. Participate in periodic inventory checks. Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings. Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely manner, and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously. Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product. FOLLOW established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices. Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with standards. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing. Immediately report safety hazards and violations. Required Skills and Qualifications Sell proactively. Benefits We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $18.50-$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. Exposure to temperatures 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in wet and dry conditions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
