Are you great at converting customers into passionate evangelists?Are you an active member of a community or multiple communities (Social, Cultural, Religious, etc.)?Are you a dynamic communicator who enjoys interacting with people and building relationships via multiple channels (IRL, over the phone, etc.)?Are you obsessed with going out of your way to delight customers?Can you balance efficiency and speed?Were a fully distributed team that works remotely from countries around the world.We may come from many different cultures and backgrounds, but its our values, resourcefulness, and drive that make us a team.We work hard, think globally, and inspire each other to grow every day.If youre the best at what you do and share our passion, we want you.Were seeking collaborative, organized, customer-focused, and independent go-getters to join us as Community Marketing Agents.You will be part of a team of like-minded individuals who think the customer is king.This will be a part-time remote position (12 to 20 hours weekly).ResponsibilitiesOnboard African stores and restaurants to join our referral program.Identify the scope of problems faced by diaspora communities when sending money, by embedding yourself in the community, building trust, and asking questions, both online and offline.Build relationships and negotiate with key partners and channels in the markets to access the community efficiently and make us viral. This could include community events, Facebook groups, radio or TV shows, and more youll need to get creative!RequirementsAt least 3 years of work experience in fast-paced environments.You don't necessarily need a background in growth, marketing, or startups.Experience creating or working with physical and/or online communities.Fluency in English; fluency in another language is helpful.Work authorization: must have the right to work in your country or community.Willingness to travel (25-50%) and work some weekends if needed.Proximity to the market you serve, attending community events, meeting partners, or conducting on-the-ground user research.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail.Ability to adapt and pivot quickly in a constantly evolving organization.Someone who makes others feel special and goes the extra mile for clients.Must be smart, resourceful, and able to think outside the box to overcome challenges.Open to embracing the entrepreneurial lifestyle.Bonus points for familiarity with diaspora communities, experience meeting ambitious KPIs, launching personal projects, or fluency in the language of a diaspora community.Like what you see?
