Join to apply for the Unit Aide - Emergency role at Island Health.Reports to the Patient Care Manager or designate. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, conducts personal care and minor nursing procedures to meet the comfort, hygiene, and therapeutic needs of patients according to established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include applying warm blankets, assisting with patient nutrition, toileting, emptying drainage catheters, and general maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and reporting malfunctioning equipment.
