Deliver transformative outcomes as a Gender Equality Specialist, supporting local partners to empower women and girls. About the Role: As part of our Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE) project, you will contribute to the economic and social empowerment of marginalized communities, particularly women and girls. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about advancing gender equality and reducing discrimination against women. Key Responsibilities: Support local partners in developing capacity to promote gender mainstreaming in key projects. Collaborate with partners to design and implement effective gender strategies. Develop and disseminate tools to enhance gender work, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect. Requirements: University degree in social sciences, economics, international development or equivalent experience. Demonstrated expertise in gender equality, planning, administration, and research teaching and facilitation. Previous experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
