Account Manager Our client is searching for an Account Manager to join their team. This role will focus on demonstrating initiative and a positive professional attitude and manner. A successful candidate will have a desire to improve themselves and advance within the company. This role reports directly to the Branch Manager. Your success will be defined by your ability to: Contact current and prospective clients to identify their need for existing and new products Respond to and process incoming calls and orders Open new accounts and maintain existing customer base Make proactive outbound calls Maintain a knowledge base on current products and learn about new products Provide pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes Provide base technical support on products Build strong relationships for repeat opportunities Ability to liaise with suppliers on project and non-stocking product opportunities Your strengths include: Post Secondary Education Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Previous Sales or Inside Sales experience in the Canadian Electrical Industry is required Superior interpersonal communication skills Ability to develop long-term client relationships A highly professional approach to business Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail Technically proficient to quickly learn and understand products Ability to develop quotations and project bid packaging, pricing and presentations Knowledge of the electrical industry would be an asset Willingness to work overtime as needed and a sense of team spirit
