About the RoleAs a Leasing Agent, you’ll be the public face of our brand, for multiple Equiton residential buildings, guiding prospective residents through tours, supporting move-in/move-out processes, and contributing to resident satisfaction. You’ll report to the Regional Property Manager and collaborate closely with on-site Resident Managers and the maintenance & cleaning team..Key ResponsibilitiesComplete all administrative functions as specified by the daily, weekly, and monthly workflow, with respect to the leasing cycleIdentify and recommend process improvements in the administration of our leasing process Be the primary contact for the leasing cycleManage the approval of applications and lease documentsEnsure all administrative aspects of tenancy leases are maintainedManage Lease Agreements correctly and on a timely basisUnderstand and support legislative process with the Landlord Tenant Board as they relate to the leasing cycleSupport the Administrative Team to be aware of vacancies, skips, evictions, transfers, etc.Ensure accuracy of Excel reports, as they relate to the approved applicationsWork closely with the Accounting Department to ensure accounting related processes and deadlines are met, such as:Last Month DepositsPre-Authorized Debit DepositMaintain applicant documentation with accuracy and on a timely basis in YardiProvide support, and training as required, to ensure compliance with set procedures to new Resident ManagersManage Yardi Database, and reporting, in relation to the leasing process, such as:CRM FlexRent CaféWork with respective teams to update Market Rents accurately and on a timely basis.Act as the contact for the Marketing Team regarding leasing promotions and complete the cycle by sending new residents their gift cards on a timely basis and related reports to AccountingAssist the Administration Team with onboarding new properties What You Bring: 2–3 years of experience in a Leasing Administrator or Leasing Agent role within residential property management, ideally across multiple sites.Proficiency with Yardi and a solid understanding of its application in day-to-day leasing operations.Thorough knowledge of Alberta’s Residential Tenancies Act and related landlord-tenant legislation.Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities across multiple buildings.Predictive Index Assessments As part of our hiring process, candidates complete two short assessments from Predictive Index:A Behavioural Assessment (5–10 minutes, untimed) to understand your work and communication style.A Cognitive Assessment (12-minute timed) to measure learning and problem-solving abilities.These are not tests of intelligence or experience, they simply help us understand how you work best.
