Our organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Gender Advisor. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our mission of advancing gender equality and social inclusion in developing countries. This volunteer placement will be based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where you will work closely with our project team to develop the capacity of local partners to support and strengthen womens organizations and movements that advance gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. As a Gender Advisor, your key responsibilities will include: Supporting local partners in their efforts to mainstream gender in their projects Developing tools to strengthen gender work To be successful in this role, you will require a university degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, economics, or international development. You should also have knowledge/experience in gender equality, planning, administration processes, strategy design, research, teaching, training, facilitation, and working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
