Job Title: Hiring a Strategic HR Leader About the Role: Fero International, a leading modular construction company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Human Resources Director to oversee its operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and in-depth knowledge of human resources management best practices. Responsibilities: Establish long-term and short-term HR goals and strategies in alignment with business objectives Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with overall business goals, fostering a positive organizational culture Conduct workforce planning reviews to analyze future talent needs and capabilities Design and implement initiatives promoting a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement Develop talent strategies for recruiting and retaining top talent through community and institutional partnerships Oversee recruitment processes, supporting critical and senior-level roles to ensure quality hires Analyze retention rates and implement programs enhancing employee engagement Meditate escalated employee relations and labor disputes, ensuring compliance with policies, collective bargaining agreements, and legal standards Develop and oversee Talent Assessment and Performance Appraisal systems to evaluate talent and performance Implement training programs aligned with learning and development strategy to support employee growth Stay up-to-date on labor laws and ensure organization-wide compliance Lead the Annual Compensation Review Process for non-union staff Monitor and improve HR Metrics and KPIs related to hiring, retention, policy, and initiative effectiveness, as well as employee satisfaction Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, with CHRL designation or equivalent certification 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role Demonstrated experience in change management and employee relations In-depth understanding of labor laws and human resources management best practices with experience in multiple HR disciplines (e.g., recruitment, employee development, compensation, and benefits) Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for conciseness Strong business acumen, understanding financial drivers and impacts Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external clients and stakeholders What We Offer: Fero provides career opportunities with continuous learning and growth in parallel with competitive compensation, benefits, and value offerings that support the wellbeing of our team members.
