We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Field Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of construction, forestry, and mining equipment. Your key responsibilities include: Traveling to international and North American customer sites (approximately 20%) to perform maintenance and repairs Coordinating warranty and service related issues with customers Managing parts and service concerns Liaising with local onsite mechanics and conducting training sessions Assisting local onsite mechanics with troubleshooting and repair work Conducting equipment inspections prior to shipping Responding to customer inquiries and concerns electronically and diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems Troubleshooting with floor staff during fabrication processes Writing maintenance and job reports to company requirements; using computer and job maintenance software for specific applications Key Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair (i.e. dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, rock truck, graders, etc.) 421A license (heavy equipment) or related trade certification an asset Training experience an asset Strong diagnostic skills Strong communication and customer service skills Valid
