Our client which is Canadas third-largest oil and natural gas producer is looking to hire Maintenance Planner- Construction. Please find the details below:Contract Duration: 1 YearAs a Planner/Scheduler, this individual is responsible for assessing incoming construction/Scope, documenting scope details steps, resource loading, leveling the activities and collaborating with Drilling, Completions, CSR’s, construction contractors and Operations optimized construction plan and schedules.Planning:Collaborate with Facilities engineering to define equipment needs.Develop detailed plans aligning with safety protocols and policies.Develop estimates based on activity-level plans.Coordinate with Construction Site Representatives and Commissioning/Start-Up Representatives for updates and efficiency improvement post-program.Scheduling:Coordinating with program management to understand rig timing, earthworks, completions, and operations activities as they relate to the construction schedule.Ensure logic ties within a construction project is accurate and the most efficient way to perform the work. EG: Concurrent workEnsure Schedules are resource loaded and leveled according to manpower plans.Coordinating with Construction Site Representatives on required updates to schedules and conducting lookbacks to ensure continuous improvement to plan efficiency and accuracy.Coordinating with Commissioning and Start Up Representatives on required updates to schedules and conducting lookbacks to ensure continuous improvement to plan efficiency and accuracy. ExecutionDaily update with Construction site representatives when in executionWorks with procurement/engineering if scope is added/removed or changed during execution. Update the plan/schedule to reflect.Provides reporting as required to CVE leadership on progress and forecasted completion dates.Identifies areas of opportunity or risk to schedule during execution.Closeout:Planning/Scheduling support for any Post construction Field ActivitiesCapabilities: Extensive knowledge of tools and various programs used for asset job planning and scheduling. Utilize process outlines, estimating tools, safety procedures and standard job templates to construct and resource work package plans for all construction scope. Work-cross functionally with teams (reliability, inspection, operations, facility engineering, projects) to ensure accuracy of details within work plans.
