The St-Augustin, a friendly private seniors residence, is seeking a person to fill a full-time daytime beneficiary attendant position. Candidates must have an AP/RPA or DEP (Degree of Professional Qualifications) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB (Personal Assistance Provider) + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Schedule: Full-time daytime position Salary: Between $18 and $21 per hour + Premium ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around Contribute to the adjustment of a residents action plan based on their observations Contribute to the development of a residents action plan based on their observations Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training) Respond to all emergency situations While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
