With a presence in 90 countries and a team of nearly 13,000 experts, we provide 24/7 support to help organisations fulfil their Duty of Care responsibilities.Now, were looking for talented individuals to join our team and make a difference.Overall Purpose of JobTo provide effective emergency response.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain standards of practice consistent with the provincial governing regulatory bodyComply with International SOS Procedures and ProcessesHave a strong working knowledge of the Service Delivery Standards that constitute the Quality Improvement Program and aim to achieve these at all timesHave a good working knowledge of Medical Records storage and retrievalEnsure that patients are managed in a professional and customer friendly mannerEnsure equipment and transport vehicles are ready 24/7 to undertake all medical retrieval servicesParticipate in medical retrieval services as requiredParticipate in annual skills assessment testing in basic life support and other identified skillsOperate clinically within boundaries of the professional licenses of the incumbentEnsure incoming calls are answered as per SOPPMaintain daily/nightly duties as assignedUndertake triage of patients as requestedParticipate in all internal training activities on siteActively maintain skills through ongoing educationAssist with the internal training program on site by preparing training sessions as requestedUnderstand equipment maintenance program and participate as appropriate when requestedEnsure equipment is in good condition and alert Equipment Department if there is a suspected problemEnsure all stock is intact and within dateMaintain inventories of all stock as per the procedureEnsure infection control practices are followed at all times in line with proceduresEnsure adequate supplies of PPE are availableMaintain patient records as care is provided in an objective, complete, and timely mannerParticipate in scheduled meetings and other activities as requestedPrepare reports relating to the specific area of responsibility as requestedParticipate in committees or working groups as requestedAny other duties that may be requested from time to time by managementAssist in writing of procedures as requested from time to timeParticipate actively in the continuous quality improvement program through identification of risk in daily activitiesPrepare reports as requested on quality issuesAbout YouMust-haves (minimum requirements):Work experience as an Emergency Medical ResponderExceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressureCurrent registration with the British Columbia Emergency Medical Assistant Licensing BoardA valid drivers license and a clean driving recordAlignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and carePreference ForExperience in an industrial settingA high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and proceduresKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteCollaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most valueHold others accountable, and expect others to do the sameWhere youll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:You will work out of our camp-based client sites.
