Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team in Iringa, Tanzania. As part of our project, you will work closely with our partners to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the capabilities of SMEs in food production, natural resource products, and other agribusiness value chains. Collaborate with local stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, farmers, and industry experts, to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions. Provide technical guidance and training to SMEs on best practices in manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain management. Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the impact of our interventions and make recommendations for future improvements. Requirements: 3-8 years of experience in CNC lathe machine operation and maintenance. 4-10 years of experience in CNC plasma cutter operation and fabrication. Competency in CNC lathe and milling machines. Facilitation and training skills; experience in developing and delivering workshops. Program delivery experience at a managerial level.
