Job Description

Site Supervisor and Learning Lead We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor and Learning Lead to oversee the daily operations of our childcare program. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of our services, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and promoting the holistic development of children aged 18 months to 5 years. In this position, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators, developing age-appropriate programs, and collaborating with other staff members to achieve our goals. You will also be involved in mentoring and coaching new staff members, monitoring their performance, and providing ongoing support and guidance. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. You should have a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, maintain open communication with colleagues and families, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the childcare program, including leading a team of educators and managing the day-to-day activities of the center. Program Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote the holistic development of children aged 18 months to 5 years. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other staff members to achieve our goals, maintain open communication with colleagues and families, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor and coach new staff members, monitor their performance, and provide ongoing support and guidance. Quality Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the quality of our services, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to ensure the highest standards of care and education. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor''s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles and practices, including curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of educators.
