Job Description

Insurance Support Specialist This role is ideal for administrative professionals who can effectively manage their workflow and deliver high-quality results. The Insurance Support Specialist provides centralized administrative support to production and service teams, enabling a seamless execution of our service strategy. Lead by example, live our values, and drive business relationships by providing exceptional customer service; Build rapport and relationships with clients to create strong long-term relationships through industry leading level of support; Process documents including new business, renewals and endorsements within EPIC system; Timely follow up on outstanding documents from the Insured or Insurer; Maintain and update claims information in accordance with EPIC workflows; Ensure accurate and timely servicing and invoicing of accounts; and Perform other duties as required. Requirements: An academic background consisting of post secondary education, certificates, industry programs, etc.) Willingness to invest time in extensive training and obtaining insurance industry related professional designations such as CIP, CRM and CAIB; Holding a General Insurance License 1 A well-defined sense of diplomacy and business acumen with a focus on customer service and client experience; Skill in analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, communication, innovation, and adaptability; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with internal Broker Management Systems (EPIC) considered an asset.
