About Us We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. This role requires strong knowledge of IFRS with practical experience applying these standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and CPA designation (or equivalent) required. The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and ASPE. This includes leading the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. In addition to financial responsibilities, the Finance Manager will also coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and ASPE. Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Track repair job costs, parts inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability and identify savings opportunities. Prepare and file HST and other government remittances. Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Work with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking. Treasury and cashflow management. Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation (or equivalent) required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance. Strong knowledge of IFRS with practical experience applying these standards. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits Flexible working arrangements.
