Role Summary: This Pump Millwright position will be located at our Toronto Quick Response Center. The Millwright''s responsibilities include dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, and assembling pumps. You will work on a diverse range of rotating equipment including BBx, OHx, vertical pumps, and high-energy pumps. You will collaborate with team leads and other team members to execute work according to work instructions, routers, drawings, and checklists. Our team is renowned for excellence in pump repair services across Eastern Canada and beyond. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Dismantle, clean, inspect, and assemble pumps Use mechanical aptitude to repair and assemble pumps Read prints and drawings Follow pre-job briefs and checklists before assembly or disassembly of pumps Operate power and hand tools needed for assembling rotating equipment Inspect and verify quality of finished work using precision measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.) Conduct low-pressure air tests and high-pressure hydrostatic tests Balance impellers and rotors Utilize cranes, lifting devices, and fork trucks Communicate clearly to peers and supervisors about job-related issues Work efficiently within fixed time windows for each manufacturing process Show behavior that encourages teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement Adhere to all Flowserve policies and procedures, particularly those related to time and attendance, safety, and productivity Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent A strong craftsman mindset when approaching the pump Over 8 years of experience in pump repair Able to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, assembly checklists, and written work instructions Accurately set up and read precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.) Familiarity with basic computer skills to learn data entry systems and Microsoft Word/Outlook Effective verbal and written communication skills in English to understand work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds with full range of motion to work with tools and parts A customer-service-oriented mindset for timely delivery and quality workmanship A strong drive to achieve results and a ''can-do'' attitude Preferred Experience/Skills: Advanced to Expert level repairing rotating equipment Previous experience balancing rotating equipment Previous experience conducting hydrostatic tests 433A License Benefits Starting from Day 1: We offer competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day one, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, and numerous other excellent benefits.
