Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Control Center Operator to join their team on a 3-month contract in Edmonton, AB. Role Description Accountable for the safe handling of the company''s products through the pipeline systems, working with the Pipeline Operations team. Responsible for the safe operation of associated facility equipment and storage, working with the Terminal Operations team. Liaison with stakeholders Logistics, Products Coordinators, Customers Responsibilities Ensure pipeline systems are running optimally; Terminal and Pipeline Operations are working together to meet targets/goals. Monitoring and troubleshooting leak detection on liquid pipelines. Troubleshoot complex problems for equipment and processes. Operate equipment within established parameters per procedures and practices. Manage safety-sensitive situations in conjunction with the Emergency Response Team. Work with other Facilities throughout Alberta and ensure a strong team oriented process. Provide clear and concise communication between Control Room and Facility, Pipeline & Maintenance Personnel. Prepare for the daily start of shift turnover and meetings. Maintain daily E-Log. Update Procedures for Pipeline and Terminal receipts and deliveries. Attend Operation Meetings (shift and non-shift) with Control Center Team.
