Benefits & Perks:Full benefits, RSP matching,a wellness account,on-site gym, and more!Responsibilities:Provide legal administrative support, including draftingdocuments and managingclient correspondenceOversee billing processes and supportvarious practice areas, including health law, wills and estate litigation, and employment lawManage scheduling, meetings, and travel for assigned lawyersBuild strong relationships with clients, lawyers, and staffHandle general administrative and office dutiesProvide executive support to the Managing PartnerManage confidential communications and calendar, coordinate travel and leadership meetingsAssist with marketing initiatives and campaign coordinationMaintain organized and secure filing systemsFoster a collaborative and engaged team environmentSupport the Practice Group and operationsCoordinate logistics forPractice Group meetings and eventsPrepare monthly trust accounting reportsManage event logistics, including registrations, travel, and communicationsSupportclient engagement and practice development initiativesQualifications:Legal Assistant diploma or equivalent experience5+ years in a legal support role; litigation experience an assetProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Professional, discreet, and highly organizedStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritizeSelf-motivated with minimal need for supervisionTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)David Aplin & Associates Inc., operating as Aplin, and its associated brands, CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment, is an award-winning employment agency connecting diverse, top-tier talent with exceptional organizations across North America.
