Senior System Design & Integration Engineer Toronto, CanadaOur client is looking for a self-motivated Senior System Design and Integration Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments. Based in downtown Toronto, this role focuses on system design, integration, and project management across a range of small to large-scale projects. You'll work closely with internal and external teams including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers.Key Responsibilities:Define system architecture and concept of operationsLead requirements, system integration, and design effortsInterface with cross-functional teams and external suppliersManage system interfaces and requirement traceabilitySupport testing, validation, and system configurationEnsure compliance with standards (CMMI, CENELEC, AREMA, etc.)Participate in design reviews and customer interactionsQualifications:7+ years in engineering; 5+ years leading systems integrationStrong understanding of engineering lifecycles and multi-disciplinary systemsExperience with Microsoft Office, IBM DOORS, and configuration toolsProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and adapt to new technologiesPreferred Expertise in one or more areas:High-Speed Rail, Power Systems, EMC/EMI, Telecom, Automated Controls, Signaling Systems, or CBTC
