We are passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and guiding them through all stages of life with personalized investment advice.If you are looking for a long-term opportunity with Portfolio Managers that support professional development and high standards, we would love to meet you.RESPONSIBILITIESClient Support and Relationship Management Schedule and prepare materials for client meetings, including portfolio reviews and investment proposals Respond to client calls and emails, resolve inquiries regarding account activity, performance, and documentation, and escalating issues as neededTake notes during client interactions and assist with follow-up and documentationMaintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulationsExecute mutual fund, equity, and fixed income tradesPortfolio and Administrative SupportPrepare investment performance reports and quarterly reportsHandle account openings, transfers, and maintenance requests with custodians and platformsProcess transactions such as wires, EFTs, contributions, withdrawals, and transfers on timeDocument transactions and client communications and ensure regulatory compliance Research, Tools and Collaboration Support the creation of market commentary, investment insights, and client-facing materialsUse Morningstar, Salesforce and Dataphile applications to manage data and track investmentsCollaborate with the portfolio manager and client service teams to deliver a seamless client experience and contribute to internal improvementsCOMPETENCIESAnalysis Assess quantitative and qualitative data, information, or situations to understand the most important details, identify patterns or meaning, and translate it into useful recommendations, decisions, or actionsCoordination Prioritize, organize, and manage information, people, assets, resources, messages, tasks and/or activities to achieve a goal within timelines Customer Service Determine needs, capture relevant information, apply internal policy or regulation, and escalate and prioritize the requests of customers to answer inquiries, fulfill transactions, or resolve issuesDigital Literacy Use technology, tools, and online resources to find, create, and communicate information or apply new digital tools or systems to do our work, while staying safe and responsible in digital environments Investment and Portfolio Management Develop, implement, and monitor investment strategies to grow assets, manage risk, and achieve financial goals, while providing informed guidance and support to clients or stakeholders Product Knowledge Maintain and deepen knowledge of company products, services and/or applications in order to align features, benefits, and uses to client or stakeholder needs Regulatory Knowledge Understand and apply relevant laws, regulations, and standards to meet legal and ethical requirements and reduce risk for clients and the organization KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE1 to 3 years of experience within the securities and/or brokerage industry is an assetCompletion or enrollment of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course to meet the qualifications necessary to be approved as an Investment RepresentativeIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook)Knowledge of Broadridges Dataphile and/or Salesforce is an assetExceptional verbal and written communication skillsArticulate, tactful and confident interacting with clientsExceptional attention to detail and skilled at working efficiently and accurately A team player with a proven record of building trusting and productive relationships Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDisciplined, driven and operates with a high level of accountabilityWHAT WE OFFERA culture of openness, collaboration and respect is foundational to our firm.
