The GPO collaborates with Gynecologic Oncologists, other medical specialists, nurses, and clerical staff in an interdisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include ambulatory care for patients on therapy and follow-up, with some inpatient care support. This role does not involve on-call duties.The Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior in Kelowna offers comprehensive services including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care, and support services such as Nutrition, Clinical Trials, and Patient & Family Counseling.Applicants must be licensed as a family physician in British Columbia and meet criteria for appointment at BC Cancer and Kelowna General Hospital. While inpatient and oncology experience are assets, they are not mandatory. Support for developing expertise in medical oncology will be provided.
