West Kelowna Warriors BCHLLocation: West Kelowna, British Columbia (on-site, evenings & weekends required)About The RoleThe West Kelowna Warriors (Junior A, BCHL) and the Okanagan Hockey Club are looking for a revenue-driven leader to own every commercial facet of our business. Reporting directly to Ownership, the Director of Sales and Marketing sets strategy and executes commercial operations including ticket sales, corporate partnerships and fulfillment, merchandising, development programs, marketing, and game-day presentation.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and deliver annual revenue targets for ticket sales (season, group, walk-up), corporate sponsorships, merchandising, and development programs.Manage the full sales pipeline: prospecting, pitching, closing, fulfillment, and renewal.Plan and execute a year-round marketing calendar, blending digital, email, in-arena, and community activations to grow attendance and brand reach.Lead a small cross-functional staff covering broadcast, game operations, social media, and community relations; set clear KPIs and coach for performance.Oversee our CRM, ticketing platform, email automation, and basic creative tools; champion data-driven decisions.Develop new revenue streams such as youth hockey camps, premium experiences, or corporate events.Represent the franchise with sponsors, media, civic partners, and fans.Manage department P&L and present monthly revenue forecasts to Ownership.What You BringProven ability to sell: minimum two years in ticket, sponsorship, or B2B/B2C sales (sports, entertainment, media, or similar).Persuasive communicator: comfortable pitching in boardrooms, energizing fans in the arena, and handling local media hits.Tech-savvy operator: hands-on with CRM/ticketing systems (AudienceView, Glitnir, Salesforce, etc.), email marketing platforms, and basic creative suites (Canva, Adobe, or similar).Marketing instinct: able to turn digital, experiential, and partnership assets into campaigns that move the needle.Bachelors degree preferred (Sport Management, Business, Marketing, or related).Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday game dates.Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Bonus PointsTrack record growing revenue for a junior-hockey, minor-league, or collegiate program.Existing network with Okanagan-area businesses and community groups.Experience hiring and leading small teams.What We OfferCompetitive base salary plus performance bonuses tied to ticket and sponsorship goals.Full benefits package and paid time off.A front-row seat to elite Junior A hockey in one of Canadas premier regions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
