Consolidate analysis of variance explanations and validate or clarify with budget leaders as needed. Lead the preparation of board materials with relevant analysis of total company spending as assigned. Support operational accounting of expense-related items, including expense allocations and financial support for business areas where complex support is required. Oversee intercompany accounting and third-party invoicing. Support the adoption of expense-related accounting policies and practices in compliance with current and changed accounting standards. Lead and mentor the Expense Management team. Develop and implement a formal process of managing team members throughout the year.
