About this role Our client is a leading media and brand licensing company seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee day-to-day operational accounting. As VP, Group Controller , you will manage the financial close process, ensure accuracy and timeliness of all group-level reporting, and lead improvements to processes and procedures to leverage technology. About the opportunity Oversee day-to-day operational accounting at the group level Manage the financial close process, coordinating deliverables with business units and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all group-level reporting Lead improvements to and develop new processes and procedures to leverage technology and facilitate aggregation of information for consolidation and disclosures Lead the external audit process, acting as primary liaison with auditors and ensuring group''s financial statements are audit-ready About you Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance or related field, and CPA or equivalent professional qualification Minimum 10-15 years experience in financial management roles, including direct oversight of AP, AR and Treasury in complex multi-entity environment Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements Prior experience in related industry would be strong asset Benefits Highly competitive compensation package which includes base, bonus and RRSP Fantastic workplace flexibility with hybrid work arrangement Work with colleagues who recognize your talents and encourage your professional growth and development Work environment that promotes creativity and individuality How to apply You must currently reside within Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
