About the Role We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee the day-to-day operational accounting at the group level. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for managing the financial close process, coordinating deliverables with business units, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all group-level reporting. Key Responsibilities Oversight of day-to-day operational accounting at the group level Management of the financial close process, coordination with business units, and delivery of accurate group-level reporting Leadership in developing new processes and procedures to leverage technology and facilitate aggregation of information for consolidation and disclosures Primary liaison with auditors, ensuring the group''s financial statements are audit-ready End-to-end AP process management, including vendor management, invoice approvals, payment processing, and reconciliation Implementation and monitoring of internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with company policies AR operations management, including billing, collections, credit management, and cash application Monitoring of aging reports and driving initiatives to optimize working capital and reduce days sales outstanding Oversight of group cash flow, liquidity management, and short-term investments Cash flow forecasting, bank relationship management, and optimal utilization of banking facilities Support of foreign currency and risk management strategies as required Leadership in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and variance analysis to senior management Support of strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario analysis Requirements Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, and CPA or equivalent professional qualification Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial management roles, including direct oversight of AP, AR, and Treasury in a complex, multi-entity environment Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements Prior leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in a related industry is an asset What We Offer A highly competitive compensation package Fantastic workplace flexibility with hybrid work arrangement Opportunity to work with colleagues who recognize your talents and encourage your professional growth and development A dynamic work environment that promotes creativity and individuality This is a full-time opportunity based in the Greater Toronto Area.
