Job Description The primary goal of this role is to manage financial investments and oversee the entire debt lifecycle. This involves working closely with various teams, including finance operations and capital markets. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly IFRS and US GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Yardi and OneStream is also necessary. Manage investments by reviewing organizational structures, fund flows, loan agreements, cash management agreements, closing statements, purchase price allocations, and liaising with third-party property managers. Prepare financial information and analytics for accuracy and optimal performance. Prepare materials for valuation meetings, board meetings, and quarterly results meetings. Oversee affiliate fee management for accurate calculations and timely payment. Prepare investor capital calls and distributions. Maintain intercompany reconciliations monthly for efficiency and compliance with organizational policies. Reporting includes preparing financial statements and investor reports in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. Prepare quarterly reporting deliverables, including board meeting materials. Partner with internal SOX teams and external auditors to address audit inquiries and assist with tax reporting processes. Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A recognized professional accounting designation (CPA or CA). At least 6 years of progressive work experience in public accounting and industry, preferably in real estate and capital markets. Managing a finance team for at least 3 years. Strong technical understanding of accounting principles, particularly IFRS and US GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Yardi and OneStream. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
