Job Description

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day operational accounting at the group level, manage the financial close process, coordinate deliverables with business units, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all group-level reporting. Additionally, this role involves leading improvements to and developing new processes and procedures to leverage technology and facilitate aggregation of information for consolidation and disclosures. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operational accounting at the group level Manage the financial close process, coordinating deliverables with the business units and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all group-level reporting Lead improvements to and develop new processes and procedures to leverage technology and facilitate aggregation of information for consolidation and disclosures Lead the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison with auditors and ensuring the group''s financial statements are audit-ready Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including vendor management, invoice approvals, payment processing, and reconciliation Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with company policies Manage AR operations, including billing, collections, credit management, and cash application Monitor aging reports and drive initiatives to optimize working capital and reduce days sales outstanding Oversee group cash flow, liquidity management, and short-term investments Oversee cash flow forecasts, monitor bank relationships, and ensure optimal utilization of banking facilities Support foreign currency and risk management strategies as required Lead the group''s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and variance analysis to senior management Support strategic decision-making with financial modeling and scenario analysis Manage, mentor, and develop finance teams across Accounting, AP, AR, and Treasury functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance Requirements: Bachelor''s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, and CPA or equivalent professional qualification Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial management roles, including direct oversight of AP, AR, and Treasury in a complex, multi-entity environment Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Prior experience in a related industry would be a strong asset What We Offer: Highly competitive compensation package which includes (Base, Bonus, RRSP) $190,000 - $220,000/year depending on candidate experience About Us: We value diversity and strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
