About the Role We are seeking a Director of Standards Guidance and Research to develop and update guidance materials, whitepapers, best practice documents, and provide clear and concise interpretations of assurance and accounting standards and regulations. The Director will lead and manage comprehensive research initiatives on emerging issues and trends. Dynamic and collaborative environment About the Opportunity Conducting research on emerging accounting and assurance issues to inform members and provide guidance on complex challenges as part of the Standards and Research function. Leading the creation and revision of guidance materials while offering clear interpretations of accounting and assurance standards. Engaging with CPAs and regulatory bodies to gather insights and representing the firm in various forums. Developing and delivering training programs and educational content to enhance the firm''s understanding of professional standards. Managing and mentoring the Professional Advisory Services team to foster collaboration and drive excellence. About You University Degree CPA Designation Minimum overall experience of 8-10 years. Audit Firm Experience in Assurance at a minimum Senior Manager level and/or experience at a standard setting body. Experience developing and updating guidance materials and best practice documents. Experience preparing live/pre-recorded webinars/podcasts. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with standards-setting bodies and influence policy development. Experience managing a team and conducting training sessions.
