About the Opportunity: Prepare monthly spending reports for budget leaders and senior management. Analyze and validate variance explanations with budget leaders as needed. Develop board materials with relevant analysis of total company spending. Lead annual budget training sessions for budget tool (TM1) users. Support budget leaders and their assistants with salary model and budget inputs. Provide analysis and reporting on budget performance to budget leaders and senior management. Oversee expense-related accounting, including expense allocations. Manage intercompany accounting and third-party invoicing. Evaluate and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies. About You: University degree in business or accounting. Designated CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation recognized in Canada. Minimum 5+ years of experience in budgeting and variance analysis. Leadership and staff management experience is required. Insurance or financial services industry experience is an asset.
