Key responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and review of monthly property financial statements, reviewing and compiling property-related financial data for quarterly financial statements and MD&A reporting, finalizing annual operating cost and property tax recovery reconciliations, liaising with external auditors, providing leadership and support in preparing the annual operating budget and review budget submissions for assigned properties, contributing to the development and analysis of consolidated budget schedules, facilitating ongoing staff development through training and knowledge-sharing to enhance accounting skills, driving process improvements and contributing to the maintenance of updated standard operating procedures (SOPs), supporting the establishment and tracking of annual departmental goals and performing ad-hoc financial analysis.
