About the Opportunity We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee AR/AP workflows and control documentation. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, quality assessment, and feedback on reconciliations to meet Global Blackline framework requirements. This role involves leading the team to complete audit walkthroughs and control testing, executing finance project and process enhancement initiatives, and collaborating with various partnerships to ensure controls and transformation objectives are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring key financial controls exist and timely remediation of operational audit issues and meeting FRCF standards. Required Skills and Qualifications We are seeking a designated accounting professional with CA, CGA, CMA qualifications or equivalent, who has 5+ years of experience in a progressive leadership role within finance operations and strong exposure to financial systems implementation. Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance or Life Insurance is an asset. The ideal candidate has worked in a financial reporting/operations environment and is familiar with IFRS control requirements. A strong people management background, including experience leading teams to complete finance deliverables, is essential. Familiarity with working in a multi-cultural environment is a plus.
