Big Rock Brewery is looking for a Summer Event Support Specialist to help bring our brewery experiences to life! You''ll assist with the setup, execution, and takedown of brewery-hosted and off-site events, engage with attendees, and support our team in delivering memorable moments. This is a hands-on, people-facing role ideal for students or seasonal workers eager to gain experience in event marketing and brand activation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in executing on-site and off-site Big Rock events, tastings, and festivals * Provide support for event setup, logistics, signage, sampling stations, and teardown * Engage with guests and share the Big Rock story with enthusiasm and authenticity * Help manage guest experiences at brewery-hosted tours, pop-ups, and special events * Support Brand Ambassadors and brewery staff as needed during activations * Maintain an organized and clean event presencewhether in the taproom or on location * Collaborate with the marketing and retail teams to ensure consistent brand experience **Qualifications:** * Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented * Previous experience in events, hospitality, or promotions is an asset * Must be 18+ and able to handle and serve alcohol responsibly (ProServe certified or willing to obtain) * Able to lift up to 40 kg and work outdoors or on your feet for extended periods * Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required * Valid drivers license & clean drivers abstract **What Youll Gain:** * Real-world event marketing experience with one of Albertas most iconic breweries * Exposure to behind-the-scenes brewery operations and brand strategy * A fun, dynamic environment where no two days are the same * Opportunities to build connections in the local food, beverage, and music scene If you are interested in joining a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, success focused organization, please submit your resume by email directly to our jobs e-mail. *Thank you for your interest in Big Rock.
