**JOB - Delivery Driver** **Company:** Nossack Distribution Centre. **Address:** #100, 7240 Johnstone Drive, Red Deer, Alberta, T4P 3Y6. **Website:** ****Please no phone calls**** **Position:** Delivery Driver (5 Ton Truck) **Minimum Credentials:** High school & Drivers License (Class 5 minimum) **Objective:** Professional driver with a good understanding of principles associated with customer service; possess excellent knowledge of driving laws, ability to follow directions, maintain records and billing statements, and communicate effectively. **Before you apply, please read the following:** * Please only apply if you understand and agree to work in a fast-paced work setting environment that includes, long-standing, walking, and Indoor cold temperatures and working around moving objects **Benefits:** After 1 year of employment, employees qualify to sign up for our Group Insurance Plan (Dental care, Extended healthcare, Emergency travel system, Short- and Long-Term Disability Plan). **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate proper loading/unloading of orders with Shipping/Receiving personnel. * Document any shortages and/or damages on invoices. * Ensure all internal/external paperwork meets the Nossack Distribution Centre policies. * Set up all loads to be shipped for that day. * Conduct security checks and inspections along the way. * Follow local and interprovincial highway safety regulations. * Keep records of loads delivered and picked up; including departure times, and maintain vehicle log information (fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service). * Complete Driver Report Forms. * Load trucks to maximize the use of space and distribute weight accordingly and ensure safety on the road. * Operate trucks and maneuver them in tight spaces. * Provide good customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times. **Qualifications:** * Powered Mobile Equipment experience is an asset. * 2 years of experience in a warehouse-type facility is considered an asset.
