We are currently seeking a **Journeyman Welder** **:**to join our West Edmonton team. **Key Responsibilities:****:** * Duties are approximately 90% repair welding and 10% new fabrication * Ability to perform various welding techniques, including MIG or Stick, flame cutting and air arc * Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, and grinding * Repair of highway trailers * Repair of large and small scrap metal bins * Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Follow all safety policies and procedures * Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor **Core Competencies****:****:****:** * Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities * Strong verbal/written communication skills * Ability to work safely and maintain a safe working environment * A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team **Essential Skills and Experience:****:** * Journeyman certificate * Fall Protection & Elevated Work Platform certification preferred * Experience with repairs * Ability to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no weekends **Company Offers:****:** * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits package * RRSP matching program * Day Shifts Only * Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment * Positive work/life balance
