**Haul-All Equipment Ltd** (is seeking a **Technical Buyer.** Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will focus on the following Key responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Source, negotiate, and procure raw material, electrical, hydraulic and power transmission components to manufacture the Haul-All Equipment Systems and Sure Flame portfolio of products. * Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and proactively handle supply problems. * Maintain & monitor system data as it relates to products and purchase orders (PO due dates, inventory levels, back orders, pricing, etc.) * Work closely with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms & maintain strong relationships. * Actively participate in supplier performance reviews and undertake research on new suppliers. * Follow up on non-conformance and supplier performance issues. * Develop a good understanding of ERP (Epicor) functionalities and work closely with the team for system enhancements. * Work together with engineering & sales as part of the NPI process * Support inventory control and associated functions * Contribute to continuous improvement projects * Other as required **Skills and Qualifications:** * Bachelors degree in Business/Supply Chain/Mechanical engineering and/or 5+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing in a manufacturing environment * Strong proficiency in using ERP and technology and software relevant to purchasing and inventory management. * Sound working knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Teams). * Effective communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize processes and make data-driven decisions. * Keen attention to detail and accuracy * Leadership skills and project management experience is an asset * Freight/Logistics experience an asset. * CPM, CPSM, APP, or other purchasing credentials considered an asset *Thank you for your interest in this position.
